A Schnibbles and A Traveling Stash Give Away!

It is that time again, the last day of the month! And I finished my Schnibble!! I am so happy. I decided to do the 49 patch. You know, if I have options I usually go for the hardest one. I know silly me. I had a Honey Bun of Arcadia that I won a while back. I figured that a honey bun was 1.5" wide and the pieces I need are 1.5" wide I would be set. Well...the strips are just over 1.5" wide so my quilt is not a square it is a rectangle. The blocks were to be 7.5" by 7.5" but ended up 7.5" by 8". Lesson learned. Sorry about pics still using the camera on my phone.

Now time for the give away!! The Traveling Stash give away. The reason it took so long, FAMILY, enough said. The following pictures are what I pulled out of the box.

Maniac Monday on Tuesday

Well it is past Monday but that is ok. I have a a busy week. My DD#1 and 2 got om from their trip and we had a lot of catching up to do. They had a great time and had many adventures. But they brought back a camera that is broken. Darn!! Now I am going to keep taking bad pictures with my phone until I can get a new phone (looking at an iPhone with a great camera) or a new camera. Not sure yet. 

I did get a few things done. Here are my Count on It calendar blocks for May and June. Need to get on July's block. July is just around the corner. 

We all have things that slip through our minds. This block for my May partner for Block Swap Adventure slipped mine. I did have it in my mind but it slipped my mind to actual do it. We it is done now. She asked for brown, gold, orange and sage. She was asking for a southwestern style block. I hope this fits what she is looking for. I can see a whole quilt made with this block. I found it at this website. 

As I was reading through my last post I realized I had posted these following pictures without writing about them. I am sure most of you figured it out, LOL! Here is my last Designer Mystery BOM 2011. Love this fabric!!

This block is for on of my May partners for Block Swap Adventures. It is a COOL block. I can see a whole 4th of July quilt made this way.

These two blocks are from my June partner in the same swap. They are so much brighter in person.

This is a smaller extra one that she sent me!

Here is block 11 of 2011 Designer Mystery BOM. So pretty. When I finished and measured it it was too small. I checked and my 1/4 seam was off. I can still can make it work and so that makes me so happy.

I received my first block for this next year. I can't wait to do this one but I am going to finish block 12 first. But look, a little pack of 2 1/2 inch squares of Vintage Modern. LOVE IT!!!

Time for My Giveaway!

Hexies Coming and Going

I have a few Hexies I need to post about. These ones came to me by my partner for March. I love them!! 

These hexies are for my May partner. She asked for brights and spots. I hope these work for her.

The next ones are for my June partner. She asked for Red, White, and Blue. I love them.

Question: how do you fix keys on your keyboard of your laptop? I have a few keys that when I push them they do not work until I hit it just right or hit it hard. Try typing without using e, g, h, 9, and 8. Sometimes it is funny but most of the time it is a pain!
