Manic Monday

Today I have a bunch of pictures. I have been trying to finish up a bunch of stuff.

Here is my May Schnibbles~Doc. I love it. I used one print and three coordinating fabrics. I had most of it done in May but just could not finish it. So I finally did!

In my PQA (Parma Quilters Anonymous) group we have been working on a quilt along. This is what our finished quilt will look like. Below are the blocks I have made and then the quilt with my finished blocks "x"ed out. Just a fun way of seeing what is left.

Also in PQA all of the members are making (9) 9 patch blocks, a mixture of boy & girl blocks to make 2 twin size quilts for a local shelter for kids. Here are pictures of my boy and then girl blocks. I will show pictures of the finished quilt tops when they are completed.
I have also volunteered to make 2 of my own twin size quilts. These are the 2 variations I have so far. They are 9 patches with 4 HST mixed in.

These flowers are from my July partner for The Inchy Hexagon Flower Swap. So cool!
These flowers are from a gal that I think messed up. I will be sending her a note to let her know.

At my LQS's Saturday Sampler we are doing these cute little stitcheries. They are to be finished into little pillows. I have not made it that far but here are the ones I have stitched so far.

My doggie is fine! He slept fine. He only bothered it a little. But remember the blue tape around his ankle. It cut the circulation off to his foot. It was swollen when I took it off. Within a few hours it was back to normal size and he is walking on it like nothing is wrong. It has not started bleeding again. We are past the scary part. Now I hope that he does not get an infection. I will be finding a different way to trim his nails. I will not do that again!

Maniac Monday on Tuesday

Well it is past Monday but that is ok. I have a a busy week. My DD#1 and 2 got om from their trip and we had a lot of catching up to do. They had a great time and had many adventures. But they brought back a camera that is broken. Darn!! Now I am going to keep taking bad pictures with my phone until I can get a new phone (looking at an iPhone with a great camera) or a new camera. Not sure yet.

I did get a few things done. Here are my Count on It calendar blocks for May and June. Need to get on July's block. July is just around the corner.

We all have things that slip through our minds. This block for my May partner for Block Swap Adventure slipped mine. I did have it in my mind but it slipped my mind to actual do it. We it is done now. She asked for brown, gold, orange and sage. She was asking for a southwestern style block. I hope this fits what she is looking for. I can see a whole quilt made with this block. I found it at this website.

As I was reading through my last post I realized I had posted these following pictures without writing about them. I am sure most of you figured it out, LOL! Here is my last Designer Mystery BOM 2011. Love this fabric!!
Here is the stack of left over fabric. I can't believe how much I have left. The stack is the same as last years stack of left overs.

This is the first block of 2012. I am so excited to work with this fabric. So pretty.

Maniac Monday #6 2012

So this is how I did on my list from last week:

1. Finish step 1 and start on step 2 of Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt.
Did not finish step 1 and did not start on step 2. I did work on step 1. It is just going to take me a long time to get past these two steps.
2. Finish March and April's Count on It calendar wall hangings.
I finished both. I think they are so cute!!

3. Get caught up on my Designer Mystery blocks. I think I am about 6 blocks behind. Well ok maybe my goal should be get 2 blocks done. LOL!
So funny!! I just tonight started on them.
4. Get started on my March Schnibble.
I have the fabric picked out.

So I might not have gotten done the things on my list but I did a bunch of other stuff.

I signed up for a couple of fun things I thought you might like to know about. Hop over to Hilachas to join a fabric swap. We will be swapping 10 inch square pieces of a solid (tone on tone) fabric and a novelty print. It will be so great!

Also Sarah over at Confessions of a Fabric Addict has started up Hands2Help Charity Quilt Challenge. Sign ups started yesterday. You have this week. Jump over there and see if you can help. There are two charities this year.

I received my block from Masha all the way over in Russia for Block Swap Adventure!! I have never received anything from there. I have real Russian fabric. So cool. I love the block.
I have decided because I am blessed to be receiving stuff from all over the world I want to keep the stamps. Here are the ones from Russia.

I am part of a Saturday Sampler at a Local Quilt Shop (LQS). This is block 2 of the BOM I am doing. It is so sweet.

I am done with the flowers for my partner from The Inchy Hexagon Flower Swap. I hope that she likes them!

So for the next week:
1. Get all 6 blocks done for Designer Mystery BOM. This is my main focus.
2. Get my Schnibbles top done.
3. Work on my Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt Along.

I hope that everybody has a great evening!!
