When threading up to start to sew,
Don't do it with the foot down low.
Raise that foot and keep it high,
'til the thread is thru the needles eye.
This keeps the tension open wide,
And lets the thread drop down inside.
Do like this and you will be,
A happy sewer, wait and see.
This is a poem I got at my local sewing repair shop. Johnsons Sewing Center. I love it and I thought I would share. I hope that you enjoy it also.
How cute - I have to share this with my daughter as she is forever trying to thread with the pressure foot down so she can see the needle better.
