Maniac Monday's are Back & A Wonderful Gift

I have been busy with life and yet I felt like something was missing. I figured out what was wrong. I lost my focus, my drive, my schedule. Since I decided to only work on UFO's this year I had no deadlines. Well I do one, The Inchy Hexagon Swap. But everything else gets done when I want it to or not at all. So I need to be accountable to myself. Keep things on my blog screen to keep track of everything. I even stopped blogging as much. So say hello to Maniac Mondays again. It is just a way to keep track of everything running around in my head.

In no particular order the UFO's I am starting off with. These are all in different stages from pieces cut to completely finished. I will show on each latter. I will also make My Maniac Monday list in another post to keep things straight.

Next is a sweet gift from a friend. She gave me this quilt. She had bought it and made something with part of it for her home. There is more then half of the quilt left. I am not sure what to do with it but I love Hexies and I love this quilt!! All hand made. It is so pretty. I would like to know how many people have gotten warm under this blanket. Here is to history and the love of a good quilt!!

  1. I was pleased to see the Eleanor Burns pattern, I have a few of her books. The first one I bought was Quilts Through the Seasons and have made every quilt in it more than once.
