H2H Finishes!!

Well it is time to post about the H2H finishes. I have done a great job of staying in the "Shannon" way. . .last minute. I started on these quilts a few weeks ago. I have had since April to do them. I always joke about how I work better under pressure. LOL! I really believe that, it must be true. I never do anything early. I of course want to change that. We will see. My favorite joke is: Procrastinators unite...TOMORROW!

Here is the first quilt fabric I received. I thought it was so cute. I love the kitties.

Here is the finished quilt. I added the green and the spotted fabric. I used all the scraps and then some of my fabric on the back.

My partner and I trade twice. This is the second set of fabric. Some very pretty browns, gold, and green.

I went and bought the monkey fabric and the tan. I love this pattern. I will defiantly using it again. Such a fun pattern. I used most of the left over fabric and some of my own for the back.

I just want to add a photo of my daughter's quilt. I LOVE IT!! It is such a striking quilt. She has already decided that she is going to make another one. I might even make one. (Sorry about the white spots. We were getting a storm and the flash lit up all the dust in the air.)

I have had so much fun making these quilts. Thank you to my partner Karen, for sending my such great fabrics to work with. Thank you to Sarah for getting us all together to do a wonderful thing. And THANK YOU to Judi and her husband for going to a foreign country to help so many people. I sure hope they love all of our quilts.

  9. Nice quilts! I really like the pattern in the second one. How fun to do it with your daughter! I hope mine likes quilting when she's old enough. I'm with you on the procrastinating...I always tell myself that I work better under pressure but when crunch time comes there is always lots of cursing involved...lol
