Manic Monday

Today I have a bunch of pictures. I have been trying to finish up a bunch of stuff. 

Here is my May Schnibbles~Doc. I love it. I used one print and three coordinating fabrics. I had most of it done in May but just could not finish it. So I finally did!

In my PQA (Parma Quilters Anonymous) group we have been working on a quilt along. This is what our finished quilt will look like. Below are the blocks I have made and then the quilt with my finished blocks "x"ed out. Just a fun way of seeing what is left.

 

Also in PQA all of the members are making (9) 9 patch blocks, a mixture of boy & girl blocks to make 2 twin size quilts for a local shelter for kids. Here are pictures of my boy and then girl blocks. I will show pictures of the finished quilt tops when they are completed. 

 I have also volunteered to make 2 of my own twin size quilts. These are the 2 variations I have so far. They are 9 patches with 4 HST mixed in.

These flowers are from my July partner for The Inchy Hexagon Flower Swap. So cool!

 These flowers are from a gal that I think messed up. I will be sending her a note to let her know.  

At my LQS's Saturday Sampler we are doing these cute little stitcheries. They are to be finished into little pillows. I have not made it that far but here are the ones I have stitched so far.

Traveling Stash, Fabric and Flowers

 The Traveling Stash is wrapped up and ready to go. I picked out a total of 3 1/2 yards. The following pictures are things I put back in.

I received these Hexies to replace some missing ones. Thank you Quiltjane!! I love them!!

Maniac Monday

My doggie is fine! He slept fine. He only bothered it a little. But remember the blue tape around his ankle. It cut the circulation off to his foot. It was swollen when I took it off. Within a few hours it was back to normal size and he is walking on it like nothing is wrong. It has not started bleeding again. We are past the scary part. Now I hope that he does not get an infection. I will be finding a different way to trim his nails. I will not do that again!

Traveling Stash Winner!

Well it is time to announce the winner of the Traveling Stash! I did not have very many people sign up. I did get two new followers though. Thank you for following me. I love that.

 Sorry for the blurry picture, as you can tell the sun is shining outside behind me.

Now for a warning! Be very careful when clipping your pets nails. I clipped at the same time he move, just about cut the tip of is toe off. He bleed and bleed. We got it stopped but each time he started to play it would start up again. I bandaged it twice. Finally I made him a sock out of a washrag. I am worried about tonight that he will cause it to bleed while we are sleeping. I don't want to take him to a vet to cauterize it. It would hurt but it would cost way to much. We will see how tonight goes.

 Lots of things being finished up so that I can start moving on to the next month. Here are my blocks that I am sending over to Melissa at Happy Quilting . They are going into the mail today. As soon as she gets all the blocks back out we will start the quilt along. Come on over and join us it will be fun.

When I list it out like that then I should be working very hard for a very long time. Now just to start working, LOL!! 

Onto some bad news. This big girl is Patches. We got her 12 years ago. While I was away from my house in the middle of June her kidneys shut down. I came home to her being very sick. I took her to the vet and had her put to sleep. Bye bye sweet girl. Have fun were ever you are going.
