Sorry that I have been gone for a while. My family is trying to get a few new things started. We got a membership at the YMCA and have been trying to go in the mornings to walk. I have teenagers who get themselves up for school so I don't have to be out of bed and ready for the day until 7:30am. Now with driving 20 miles to get to the Y a few days a week I have to be up at 4:50am. That is way to early for me. I am a "swing shift" person. Stay up late, get up late. So getting up EARLY is hard for me.
Sorry about the whining. LOL!!
I signed up under Sharon over at Vrooman's Quilts for the Pay It Forward 2011. She has already sent out my gift. I am so excited!! I love everything in the box. Thank you Sharon!!
Look at this beautiful card. I love it.
Next was this wonderful Cross-Stitch wall hanging. Look at the cute houses and the quilt.
Then there was a sweet little metal hanger with a chicken in it. SWEET! A package of note papers and a pen. They are labeled, This Month, This Week, and Today. I will use them all the time. They are just right to help me keep things straight in my head. Then a Mary Engelbreit Pin Cushion. I love it.
It has the sweetest 3d heart and flower on the front.
Next is 7 fat quarters of some of the cutest fabric I have seen in a while. Makes me think of spring.
Here is a close up of the the little flowers. You can see the grid on the mat behind it to get the scale.
Very small.
Next she sent 36-8 1/2 X 8 1/2 inch blocks. They are all made out of light colors. I LOVE THEM!! I can't wait to make something with them. My mind is going crazy trying to come up with the perfect project for them. Any ideas?!
Here are a few close ups of some of the fabrics.

Oh, sweetie, that package got to you so fast - I am so happy! All those things are bits of me - Love Mary Englebreit, notes are my saviour in keeping on track, dotty fabrics and shirtings are great mixers in scrapping, and my love of strip blocks. The cross stitch resembles our shop and the note card reminded me of my minis. Enjoy your goodies and Happy Birthday, too.
