A work in progress...

I have spent most of the last two days reading over one of the blogs I am following. It is A Quilting Life: Simplicity... I love reading her path along this blogging road I am now taking. I love her projects and have decided to do a few of them myself. Thanks Sherrie, you have been an inspiration to me. I will be working on a project tomorrow if I can stop reading blogs. :) I wanted to post a picture of the quilt blocks, I have it pieced together now and am working on the borders. (The quilt that you see underneath is a duvet cover I made about two years back for our bed.) I hope that you all like it. I will be glad to have this one done. It should have been my first finished quilt but that is OK. I am learning from most of the blogs that I read that I am not the only one that is jumping from project to project.

  1. Well! welcome to the blogging world. I remember when I started blogging and got the first "non family" blog....I called all my family to come take a look.
Now then, I was learning to quilt with a 12" ruler and a 9 X12 cutting board!
Too funny when I think of it.
Your style is quite different from what I do, but you do wonderful work and deserve a comment!
